Entering Immunizations and Printing Labels

  1. To select a new patient, login in or click on the "Cover" tab at the bottom of the screen and select "New Patient".

  2. Type the medical record number or name in the text "Search" box and press "Open"

  3. When you are in the cover page for the patient (below), select the "Today" tab at the bottom.

  4. Press the "Add/Edit" button at the top of the intervention flow sheet (below).

  5. If the shot has not already been ordered, select the shot used from the left hand panel, and drag it into the immunizations area on the right.

  6. Select the site where the shot will be administered and the lot number, from the options available. Clicking the "+" button to the right of the "Lot #" field pops up a window from which you can select the shot. The lot number and manufacturer can also be entered by hand, but choosin from the list is less error prone. If you are the person ordering the shot, click in the "Ordered" checkbox. If you are the person administering the shot, click in the "Done" checkbox.

  7. To print labels for the shot, press the "Billing" button, or the "Chart" button, at the bottom of the "Today" page. The labels should print, if your label printer is connected and turned on.
